Who we are

Purilian is a Florence based deep-tech company that designs, builds and installs active noise cancellation (ANC) systems for industry: stacks, ducts, ventilation plants and machinery in large production facilities across Europe and the United States. Algorithms, electronics and mechanics are developed in-house, from the acoustic model to the installation in the field.

The role

We are looking for a junior profile to grow in the hardware design of our ANC systems, working alongside the senior engineers with growing responsibility on boards, testing and installations.

What you will work on

• Support to PCB design and to the review of schematics and layouts.
• Assembly, bring-up and testing of boards in the lab.
• Measurements and characterisation with oscilloscope and lab instruments.
• Technical documentation: bills of materials, revisions, test results.
• Support to field installations together with the team.

What we look for

• A degree in electronics engineering or equivalent preparation; recent graduates are welcome.
• Solid basics of analog and digital electronics.
• Some PCB design experience, even academic or personal (thesis, projects, hobby electronics).
• Desire to be in the lab and learn by doing.
• Basic technical English; Italian is welcome but not required to start.

Nice to have

• Thesis or projects in audio, acoustics or instrumentation.
• Basics of embedded programming in C.
• Familiarity with electronics CAD (Fusion, Altium, KiCad).
