Senior Electronics Engineer, ANC Hardware
Mixed-signal PCB design, power supplies, electronics for industrial environments
EUR 50,000 gross/year (RAL)Permanent contractFlorence, Italy, on-site
Who we are
Purilian is a Florence based deep-tech company that designs, builds and installs active noise cancellation (ANC) systems for industry: stacks, ducts, ventilation plants and machinery in large production facilities across Europe and the United States. Algorithms, electronics and mechanics are developed in-house, from the acoustic model to the installation in the field.
The role
We are looking for the person who will own the hardware of our ANC systems: systems already installed and operative at international industrial clients, with a growing range to evolve into a family of standardised products. You will have full visibility of the whole cycle: schematic, layout, testing, installation.
What you will work on
- Mixed-signal PCB design: low-noise analog front-ends for microphones and sensors, digital section with DSP, amplification stages.
- Power supplies: clean, isolated power from the industrial mains without injecting noise into the audio chain.
- Board bring-up and testing in the lab; debugging with oscilloscope and analyzer.
- Hardening for harsh environments: thermal management in sealed enclosures, protections, EMI immunity, CE marking.
- Standardisation of the hardware into product variants.
- Technical growth of the junior profiles in the team.
- Support to field installations together with the team.
What we look for
- A degree in electronics engineering or equivalent preparation.
- At least 5 years of PCB design experience, with boards taken to production. We work in Autodesk Fusion for electronics and mechanics; experience with Fusion, Altium, KiCad or equivalent is welcome.
- Solid command of signal-path analog electronics and of switching and linear power supplies.
- Full autonomy in the lab: instruments, testing, fast iterations.
- Working technical English (international clients and suppliers).
Nice to have
- Experience in audio, electroacoustics or measurement instrumentation.
- Experience with EMC/EMI certification and design for outdoor environments (IP65+).
- Basics of embedded programming in C.
What we offer
- Permanent contract, based in Florence, Italy.
- Meal vouchers and supplementary healthcare (SAN.ARTI).
- Annual welfare budget as fringe benefits.
- Projects for international industrial clients in automotive, energy and manufacturing.
- Compensation: EUR 50,000 gross per year (RAL).
- Relocation to Florence: we help with the practical steps.
